Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandma is cold.  In summer.  In winter, like now, she lives in layers and stays on her electric bed warmer as much as possible.

Grand-mère Boudreaux done tole Tee, "Bring me in mo' wood fo' de fire, it be 32 degree in here!"

An' Tee ax, "Grand-mère, what fo' you t'ink it be dat col'?"

An' Grand-mère say, "Mais! Dat be de tempe'chur dey say when it be freezin', an' since I be freezin' in here, it gotsa be 32 degrees!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.        

I didn't think to get pictures of the rarely seen icicles around here until there were few left.

Over the week, I haven't snapped much of anything but a few sky photos with lots of wires and signs in the way (stopped at red lights on the way to work, i take what i can get).

So instead, flashbacks from my phone.
