Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (who no longer blogs), and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute). Then add your link!
One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do. So come and join us in Feline Friday.
What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
Angel, Ms. G's cat, wasn't so "chonky" (that's the word now used) before one of the other cats in the house became ill and was put on a dry kibble. This cat became a kibble lover and grazed herself up to hefty proportions.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. The last thing I cooked was _____________________.
2. When I go out to eat, my usual order is __________________.
3. I feel most comfortable when _________.
4. I purchase _________ on a very regular basis.
1. The last thing I cooked was a veggie and rice stir fry.
2. When I go out to eat, my usual order is whatever vegetables they happen to have.
3. I feel most comfortable when in one of my summer dresses after work, sitting and reading.
4. I purchase all the things! on a very regular basis. At least, it seems so, all the cat supplies, all the cleaning supplies, all the groceries, the necessary items like toilet paper and garbage bags, personal care items, all the things.

Chonky is an excellent word.
ReplyDeleteWe also purchase cat food on a very regular basis.
Dry kibble was Eric's problem too and he became a chonk. We used to leave it down for free grazing at night but he scoffed the lot so we had to stop doing that.
ReplyDeletePurrfect Kitty photo. I'm like you, you have to purchase the same things over and over until you think you're going nuts after a few years.
ReplyDeleteMom has had cats since she was seven until now. For some reason, the males all liked to eat until they could burst. She only had one female that was hefty. I guess some cats like to eat more than others.
ReplyDeleteI think Mr. G looks cuddlesome. There just more of him to love. Go Mr. G, go!
ReplyDeleteAmber chonked out too on kibble when she was much younger!!! There must be something about kibble nibbling that's addictive to cats! MOL Supurr fill-ins and snap on #4, cat supplies are always on the shopping list at BBHQ! MOL
ReplyDeleteAngel OMC Chonk is a good word. Kibble made its wat to Angel Madi's hips too. BUT OMCs there is so much of Angel to hug and love on.
ReplyDeleteI love a good stir fry too
Thanks for hosting us today
Hugs Cecilia
Angel is beautiful. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I wish I could throw on a comfy dress, but I am too chonky. :) XO
ReplyDeleteMy sister has quite a few cats – I've never counted--but five or six – and I know she's a fan of kibble. :-)
ReplyDeleteSweet Angel does love that crunchy food. Those were good answers too!
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Well I mean if the food is there you've got to eat it, right? Otherwise it'd just be rude."
ReplyDeleteAngel blends in with the decor perfectly! I think I'll have a stir-fry tonight, thanks for the suggestion!
ReplyDeleteAngel is purrfect✨I think some kitties get chonky and some not, just like Peachy and me😺😸 Loved your answers, especially the third one. Sounds so relaxed😺Double Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞
ReplyDeletePerhaps the kibble needs to be removed after meal time and not left for grazing. I leave some out for Lola all day and all night, but she only eats twice a day and leaves it alone in between meals. She is almost 15 now and still weighs only 8 and a half pounds.
ReplyDeleteHappy Feline Friday! Have a great weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteChonky is adorable ~ hugs,
