Tucker and Dale (Feline Friday), Friendly Fill-Ins, Nature Friday and Flashback Friday

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

Tucker and Dale came from a house overrun with cats, they were two of the last kittens born there.  Tucker was born with only one eye, but it doesn't slow him down.

Dale had a hard time posing, but Tucker stopped long enough for me to get a good photo or two.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I refuse to shop at _________ because _________.

2. _________ is my screensaver.

3. If I had a pet parrot, I would teach it to say _________.

4. Even though _________ isn't until _________, I'm already _________.

1. I refuse to shop at   certain stores on a street in town  because   the traffic is so bad in this area i try to completely avoid it.  If i have to go to one of them, i try to choose my timing very carefully.

2. Whatever nature scene is offered  is my screensaver.

3. If I had a pet parrot, I would teach it to say   "Hi, I'm Mr. Peeve!" and "I'm Ms. Mimi's pet, Peeve!"

4. Even though   space heater season   isn't until   sometime between November and January (you never know in the swamps),  I'm already   watching for when they hit the stores, as there's often a sale when they first arrive as it's still hot.  We almost always have one conk out on us each winter, so we keep a spare.

  6. Tucker and Dale reminds me of those chipmunks Chip an' Dale, Disney characters. I'm glad they are out of that hoarding situation and hope that they get adopted together into a forever home, soon. They are both precious and it's good to see them romping even in their cage. So much energy!
It was great to see the lovable Coda, too.

  7. As quick as the seasons are passing, it'll be winter again before you know it. I'm looking forward to cooler weather. I love the little hammock in the kitty cage! :) The kittens are cute. Enjoy the summer, it'll be gone before you know what happened!

  8. It is amazing how animals overcome any kind of handicap. If only we humans could learn from them. I'm glad to hear about the kittens and I truly enjoyed seeing the puppy dog. Good luck finding a space heater.

  9. Such cuties. I am glad they were rescued. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That is a cool name for a parrot. Our local Walmart had space heaters for $10 this past spring. I am kicking myself for not buying one. XO

  17. The kitties are a cute pair and I always like seeing Coda. If I had a pet parrot I would teach it to say "Hello Gorgeous", though it's more likely to pick up something less nice.
