Floss and Goo and Funnies, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus. 

Carl has a love/hate relationship with dental floss.

He uses floss, frequently.  He tries to use very short lengths, but inevitably cannot tear it off well.  He ends up with strands all over.

Yesterday, we had to cut the unused floss off of his car keys so he could leave for work.  How does a length of dental floss, still attached to the package, get wrapped up with his keys?  Only Carl has that talent, and he's not telling exactly how he does it.

Yes, he does go through a lot of dental floss.

Then there's his disposal of said floss.  Like everything else, he throws it toward the trash can while walking away, not bothering to check if it actually lands where it should.  Most of the time it doesn't.

In the hot summer months, Carl also uses frozen gel packs in vests designed to keep the packs up against you and cool you off.

Those packs eventually break open and leak the gel goo and have to be thrown away.

Sometimes they leak inside the pockets of the cool vest.  Sometimes you find that out only when you are taking packs out of the vest.  Then you have to grab paper towels and try to get that goo off of everything, including your hands, and please don't use water, you'll regret it.  Wipe with dry paper towels and throw them away and then wash everything.
