It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.
Carl has a love/hate relationship with dental floss.
He uses floss, frequently. He tries to use very short lengths, but inevitably cannot tear it off well. He ends up with strands all over.
Yesterday, we had to cut the unused floss off of his car keys so he could leave for work. How does a length of dental floss, still attached to the package, get wrapped up with his keys? Only Carl has that talent, and he's not telling exactly how he does it.
Yes, he does go through a lot of dental floss.
Then there's his disposal of said floss. Like everything else, he throws it toward the trash can while walking away, not bothering to check if it actually lands where it should. Most of the time it doesn't.
In the hot summer months, Carl also uses frozen gel packs in vests designed to keep the packs up against you and cool you off.
Those packs eventually break open and leak the gel goo and have to be thrown away.
Sometimes they leak inside the pockets of the cool vest. Sometimes you find that out only when you are taking packs out of the vest. Then you have to grab paper towels and try to get that goo off of everything, including your hands, and please don't use water, you'll regret it. Wipe with dry paper towels and throw them away and then wash everything.
Speaking of messes and goo:
Have a blessed and beautiful Tuesday, everyone!

Hehe! I did not know about freezingjelly packs, andnow wonder what happens if you try with water.
ReplyDeleteGood funnies, thanx.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Love those goo shots. Sigh at the leaking packs.
ReplyDeleteThat Carl is the best job security you could ask for! The goo would not be a fun thing to have to deal with.
ReplyDeleteI love Carl. He's the only person that could deal with floss. Those pictures of the babies with pasta and sauce was me when I had pasta. I still have a photo of me. Oh my goodness what a mess. LOL
ReplyDeleteCruisin Paul
Carl is a whirlwind and I enjoy hearing about him. He's a hoot.
ReplyDeleteI love all the kid shots. I so remember those messes. I'm glad they are behind me.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Big hug. ♥
I have spaghetti pictures just like that of my own. No, not of me, of my kids, in case you were wondering.
ReplyDeleteA friend came over when our son was a baby. The babe was eating peas. Our friend said "I am never have any kids."
ReplyDeleteMaybe Carl could try those little floss pieces that come on plastic holders? Yuck on the ice gel goo. Glad he doesn't have a cat because the floss and goo could be deadly.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness- these are super funny! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteDental floss and gooey messes everywhere!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering what happens if you try to wash the goo off with water? Is it not supposed to go down drains? That seems right.
