Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
Uncle J caught the mouse. It had chewed a hole in the dishwasher hose and now the cabinets and flooring have to be replaced because of the leak.
They're hoping there are no more mice, but since there are no little mousie priests taking vows of celibacy, the story may not be quite over.
Clothile be's talkin' to Marie an' she say, "If de plural o' mouse be mice, and the plural o' louse be lice, does I need me to worry when my spouse say he want mo' spice in hims life?"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files. The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please. It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.
I've been trying to photograph butterflies and bees again, with some success.

This week, Jack wants to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. https://thecatonmyhead.com
It's his "I'm playing shy" selfie.

ReplyDeleteHow I already miss having flowers with bees and butterflies. Cut down the last scene is yesterday because I haven't seen either one for a while. By the way did you ask that monarch butterfly if it started out in my yard? Lol.
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE those butterfly and bee pictures!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. You did very well taking them.

ReplyDeleteYour bees and flowers are merry and sweet to see. Thank you not only for taking the, but for posting them.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely bees and butterflies photos - you did great. And we thought your Silly Sunday Cajun joke was hilarious. All the oddities of the English language must be so confusing for those trying to learn it.
ReplyDeleteAnd about those mice - a whole bunch of mice decided that our Dad's car engine was a great spot to nestle for the winter. This was many years ago. He kept getting this horrible odor coming through the vents in the car for the heat. Those varmints had made such a mess, and they even ate through all the insulation under the hood. It is a wonder they even survived while he was driving.
Woos - Misty and Timber
Cute joke and beautiful photos. Nice selfie too. XO
ReplyDeleteHello Jack, you are a cutie! Too funny, gotta watch those spices!
ReplyDeleteJack, you shouldn't be so shy!! You look pawsome!!!
ReplyDeleteThe second, tenth and 18th photos are wonderful. NEVER assume there is only one mouse. They are like cockroaches, if you see one, there is a family of them somewhere.
ReplyDeleteWonderful joke and wonderful photos of flowers with bees and butterflies. You did very well!
ReplyDeleteA Cajun cracker! You photos are delightful.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty flower you've photographed the butterflies and bees on. I wonder what it is called. Your photos are nice and I share your pleasure in the challenge of trying to photograph these somewhat elusive creatures.
