Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute). Then add your link!
One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do. So come and join us in Feline Friday.
What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
I asked Violet to pose for "V" day on the A to Z and, while she posed nicely while she was lying down, once she got up all bets were off and most of the photos are in the fails below.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. _________ hurts my feelings
2. Things on my not to do list include _________ and _________.
3. _________ is an inanimate object that cheers me up.
4. I wish I could hire someone to _________.
1. Knowing someone is being intentionally mean, no matter who the person is being mean to, hurts my feelings
2. Things on my not to do list include worry about things i can't control and worry about things that aren't any of my business.
3. My desk plate with the funny sayings is an inanimate object that cheers me up.
4. I wish I could hire someone to clean my house! I spend so much time cleaning other people's homes, i'd love to have someone do mine.

Violet is a cutie. I wish that you could find someone to clean your home - someone as diligent and thorough as you are.
ReplyDeleteViolet is a pretty girl. I remember Arbor Day from Primary School, our class each year would go to a nearby park and plant a tree. I don't know if we still do that.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely cat you have. Thank you for all your good works.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
It looks like Miss Violet was in the midst of a deep sleep and was awakened. She seems very cozy in that bed.
ReplyDeleteThat Violet is definitely not shrinking! She looks like a lively little lady who is only constrained by those pesky bars. I think she wants to play, play, play. She reminds me of my angel Domino, another little feisty tuxedo. Here's hoping Violet finds her forever home very soon.
ReplyDeleteViolet is a sweetie and I hope she gets adopted. Sadly a neighbor knocked on our door last night and said they're indoor Kitty has escaped. We will be keeping an eye out for it and hope that it's found soon. Love seeing the green tomato. We can probably buy tomato plants here in the next week or two. Happy Friday
ReplyDeleteViolet is a pretty girl. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I can see why you would want someone else to clean your home. That is a nice little garden. My hubby has Arbor Day covered he just planted a lot of hazelnut trees. XO
ReplyDeleteViolet is so pretty! Great fill-ins and fails!
ReplyDeleteViolet is very pretty and even her fails are cute.
ReplyDeleteYou made our day, sweet Violet. Your pictures are awwdorable, also the fails, we still can see you🩷Those were also great fill ins. Double Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend, Mimi🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteViolet is beautiful. Even the photo fails are great.
ReplyDeleteViolet is such a pretty little girl. Those were good answers and fun fails too!
ReplyDeleteViolet your face is absolutely 100% purrfectly marked and spaced. I send you a kiss
ReplyDeleteFriday is loo cleaning and floor mopping here...I do all a bit at a time. All finished and I'm off duty til supper
Hugs Cecilia
Violet is a very long legged cat ;) Now I suffer from tomato envy ;) And I do understand you wanting someone else to clean for you. I'd like to pay someone to clean my windows, somehow it always ends up at the bottom of my to do list, and newly cleaned windows make me happy.
ReplyDeleteViolet is darling!
ReplyDeleteI like Violet! I often wonder if you'd like someone to do your cleaning - I'm not surprised with that fill-in!
ReplyDeleteAwww, Violet is very sweet and posed quite nicely. Mom wonders if you would come here and clean her house:). And she can't wait to plant her one tomato plant in a pot on our deck so the wild critters don't come and eat the fruit.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
Sometimes the photo fails are the most fun!
ReplyDeleteAww, Violet is so cute. She took a nice selfie! We liked your answers very much, Mimi. How nice it would be if someone would come and clean YOUR house. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday, and totally terrific fill-ins! Violet is just epically epic, too cute for sure! MOL
ReplyDeleteI like your Friendly Fill-Ins. We should be living one day at a time.
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "Awww, look at those toe beans and murder mittens!"
