Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she has entrusted it to me.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute). Then add your link!
One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do. So come and join us in Feline Friday.
What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
Our little Annie was wondering if Link Linker the Stinker wanted to play with his toy.
He didn't seem very interested.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. I rue the day ________________.
2. One thing I wish I had closure with is __________________.
3. _________ recently took a turn for the worse when _________.
4. My _________ has improved thanks to _________.
1. I rue the day the young lady ran a stop sign and wrecked my Sweetie's Honda, the best car we ever had.
2. One thing I wish I had closure with is my best friend from high school who decided to move off the grid almost 30 years ago and i haven't been able to find anything about her since.
3. Our budget recently took a turn for the worse when someone in this house (and not me) ran the water a little too vigorously during the freezes last month, causing our water bill to double, which will be reflected on our sewer user fees for months to come because of how they figure such things here.
4. My sodium level has improved thanks to me being diligent about it.

Nature Friday is hosted by LLB in Our Backyard. Simply post a picture of the natural world, and link up!
More azaleas are popping up.

Pet Photo Fails is hosted by Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries & Meows.
I was trying to get Abby to post for a Sunday Selection, but she wouldn't cooperate and stay in the light. This was too dark to use as anything but a fail.

She is very sweet. It is a pity Link Linker didn't want to play. It is upsetting when you lose contact with a friend and never hear from them again.
ReplyDeleteThe azaleas are looking lovely.
The photo of Abby may be a fail, but she is still looking lovely.
Annie had a challenge trying to get Link to play with the cat toy. Love the beautiful pink azalea. Happy Friday
ReplyDeleteMy best school-friend also disappeared, a shame. Love the azaleas, yours are far ahead ofours!
ReplyDeleteMom wonders about a couple friends she had growing up that she lost touch with. One connected with her maybe ten years ago and it was really fun but her friend from grade school she has not been able to find so easily. She wonders how it could be that they did everything together and then suddenly it ended and they never heard from each other again.
ReplyDeleteYour little Annie sure does make for very sweet photos, especially when she's interacting with cats and/or dogs.
ReplyDeleteAnnie is so cute. Great fill-ins. Our electric bill will go up this month because of the freeze since Mom had to run the pool the whole time.
ReplyDeleteAnnie is a sweetie and how nice of Link to stay there for her. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except how sad about your friend and your Honda. Cute photo fail. XO
ReplyDeleteEl gat té més coneixement que l'Annie, per això no es mou, per no fer-li mal. ;-)
ReplyDeleteJa fa temps que vaig perdre les meves amigues de l'escola, no he tornat a saber -ne res i és trist.
Uff, no em parlis de la corrent!
Boniques flors i la foto del gos està bé... és un gos a les fosques. ;-)
Petonets, Mimi.
Such sweet photos with Annie! Good fill-in answers and a fun fail too!
ReplyDeleteHow nice that Annie tried to get Link to play. Maybe a wand toy would work?
ReplyDeleteOh Annie is so adorable and sweet kitty too ~great fillins too ~ hugs,
ReplyDeleteLink and Annie are so cute. Great fill ins, too.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photos!! believe it or not I got off my lazy ass and did a Feline Friday and a 5 On Friday post as well!
ReplyDeleteYour Annie is adorable and I love how comfortable she is with Link...an animal lover in training
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Nature too
Hugs Cecilia
Link Linker is very cute. My Silver did something cute this week too...while living with other people she became quite the spoiled princess, so I think she's had more to say to me in the weeks she's been back at home than she had in the first six years of her life, together.
ReplyDeleteBut what readers really need to know about the Petfinder posts is that there's another thing they *might* be able to do for the homeless pets. In addition to sharing the pictures, they can sponsor an specific animal for adoption, if they know someone who would be a good pet owner but can't afford the full price. Or they can share the pictures with someone who might sponsor the animal for adoption by them...Actually, just visiting an animal's web page at Petfinder moves it up the list and increases its visibility, so even just clicking on a link may help!
Reading the dictionary - I'm with you on that one, and have done on several occasions.
ReplyDeleteAwww, such cute friends!
ReplyDeleteAbby's photo is fine. Link Linker is very placid to sit still while a toy is dangled close.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet girl Annie is, looks like she's very gentle with the Linker and vice versa💗Abby, you may seem in the dark, but we still can see you purrecious self😻Double Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend Mimi. We try to stay a little longer next time🐾😙💞
ReplyDeleteBoth Annie and Link are super cute. He definitely doesn't seem to be interested in his toy ... rafter have a cat nap. Mom says that if you can e-mail her your friend's name and the city/state where s/he lived, she may be able to find her/him for you. She has a secret weapon. She did all the research for her 50th H.S. reunion and found lots of missing people.
