Growing Up So Fast

It seems that only yesterday he was a baby.

In reality, yesterday we went to the bank and did all the "paperwork" (it's all on computer now, but I don't know how else to describe it) to get myself and Sweetie off of #1 Son's bank account. He also now has his own checking account, savings account, and debit card.

I remember when he was still swallowing coins. The first time he was 13 months and got hold of a penny. I called the pediatrician in a panic, and he said, "Don't worry. He'll swallow five bucks worth of coins by the time he is 5 years old. And all of it will come out in the end."

Yes, he meant it that way. (Insert eye roll here.)
