Back to the Shelter

We are up to 12 kittens now, 9 on the bottle, two of them are on the brink of weaning.

The shelter is popping along. I was the culprit letting Grady out tonight, and apparently Clint comes out sometimes to guard the door to keep him in. Clint still hides from me, and I have to hunt him down.

Nacho is no longer getting treatment for his neck, and it seems to be healing. Lulu is snerking and snorting and sounds terrible, but it is apparently an allergy, and she isn't contagious. I didn't hear any sneezes out of Maisie or Mamie or Maggie.

JuJu is eating! Buddy and Tiger don't seem to bug her like Bowie did. Curley Sue must have really upset Rory, because he is not in there anymore, but is with Nacho and Prissy (who also couldn't stand Curley Sue), and I had to climb on a ladder to pet him.

Frieda seems to have turned permanently friendly. I guess it took being sick to make her realize how much she likes attention.

Roxanne, Gidget, and Tiffany seem to be eating, but Gizmo had to be left with the vet, he wouldn't eat at all. It only takes 3 days for a fasting cat to become very sick with liver problems, so we can't take chances. Nothing in the box for 3 days, and you are at the vet's office, buddy.

Dustie is back on eye meds, and Angel runs when you come in with the bottle of drops! It took a lot to convince her that she would not be on the receiving end, but once she saw it was for her roomie, she became her usual sweet self. Dustie, of course, never runs, and purrs even after the drops are in.

Sandy is in the cages, awaiting a room, and Cherry is back there waiting for all of the vet work she needs.

Princess, Corrie, Allie, Rosie, Francie, Muffin, and Grayson are all getting on well.

In the past few weeks, Gabby, Mindy, Leia, and Cosmo have all been adopted.
