One side effect of storms such as the one we just had is that lots of people don't want to cook, or can't because the power is out.
So, what to do when you don't want to cook, it's too nasty to get out, there's a good game on tv, and/or your power is out?
Call the pizza guy, of course. So, that's what people did.
#1 Son was at work Saturday evening, when the game was on and the weather was nasty and they did $4,000 worth of business in one hour. That's generally a great weekend night total.
He said there were pizzas everywhere, and they were flying out the door as fast as they could get them done.
So i guess the big manager there will get his bonuses for this week. The weather may stop everyone else, but the mail carrier and the pizza guy don't stop except for full on hurricanes.
