When they get home from the vet, after surgery, they aren't sure if they are more tired or hungry. Some of them just decide to sleep in the food bowl as a compromise.

Pearl Harbor Day is also National Cotton Candy Day? I guess, sometime in the future, we can look forward to 9/11 also being National Shave Your Corns Day. Ah, well. Everything becomes less as time passes.
We had a kitten do this in the St. Bernard's bowl. To tell you how gentle this dog was, he ate around the kitten, and then sat and waited until the kitten woke, ate what was under the kitten, then 'groomed' the kitten. Whereupon we had to wash the kitten...
