Shakin' up de Kitchen (Silly Sunday)

Sweetie has Brother-in-Law, The Mouth, come over every Saturday night (unless one of them is dying).  Sometimes they eat out at a buffet restaurant, sometimes they buy a plate dinner, and sometimes i cook.

Once in a while, Sweetie cooks, and for a man who was once a chef, it is a major production.

He cooked a simple baked bean and hamburger dish, and for the noise and mess he made and the fact that he was calling for me to find things for him in the kitchen every few minutes, you would have thought he was fixing a four course 4 star meal.  It was quite funny, but at least they had a good supper.

Boudreaux done decide he goin' to cook dinner an' give Clothile de night off.  He make him a menu, an' he go to de store, an' den he come home an' lock hisse'f in de kitchen.  De family hear lots o' noise an' smell some funny smells, an' hear him yell once in a while, but he keep at it.

Dat night, when it be time to eat, de family sit down an' Boudreaux start servin' up what he cook.  It all be good until he pull him out his crownin' achievement, a pie.

Boudreaux cut de pie an' give ever'one a slice, an' dey all bite an' den spit it out!  Boudreaux be yellin', "Mais!  Sacre!  What done happen?" an he go run back in de kitchen.

A minute later, de family hear him laugh, an' dey go in to see what be so funny.  Boudreaux be standin' by de garbage can, holdin' him a box.  "Dis be what I did," he say.  "Instead grabbin' me de box o' graham cracker crumb fo' de crust, I grab de Shake n' Bake!"
