It was pouring rain yesterday morning, so Mr. Cal did not have his walk. He was sad, and it was an awwww morning. (It was dark in the house on an early rainy morning, so the pictures are what they are.)

My first poem is a "cinquain," similar to a tanka, five lines of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 2 syllables.
Each night
in my dreams i
journey between the stars
into a vast universe of
wonder.

burning inspiration
are they only
big balls of gas

DeleteBad weather can certainly ruin it for a puppy wanting to take a walk. No rain up here but the frost is keeping the kitty off the patio.
ReplyDeleteWe go out for our walks in the early morning 365 days a year, rain or shine, hot or cold. Mom says once she is out in the rain it isn't so bad but she does prefer walking when it is dry. Maybe you will get a walk another day.

ReplyDeletepoor sweet pup, missing your walk. When it rains here, I open the back door and Beau stands with his head out and then hangs his head and lies down on the rug with a big sigh. here in Florida, its rare to miss a walk, not a lot of rain and if it does it usually only last a few minutes...

I'm with Mr Cal, there's nothing that gets me crabbier than being housebound. I know rain is good! But I'd prefer it to schedule itself only when I'm sleeping, is that too much to ask?
