Belief (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections, and Sunday Selfie

***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit

Yesterday, Grandma asked me to clear out some of the cookies and sweets she has had in her room for quite a while.  She stopped me when i came to the box of chocolates.

"I can't eat them any more, they give me indigestion."

Do you want me to get rid of them? i asked.

"No," she answered, "I might eat them anyway!"

Tee Boudreaux done be lookin' fo'ward to de Easter bunny an' gettin' de chocolate candy, but one o' de chil'ren in hims class done say dere don' be one.

Tee come home ver' sad an' ax Boudreaux, "Père, one o' de boys in my class done say dere's no Easter bunny.  Do he be right?"

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, no, de boy jes' be de egg-nostic!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  Our friend River is hosting, and other participants often include Charlotte/Mother OwlAndrew, and WiseWebWoman.

Some of the fun from last week's Palm Sunday doings at church, including Amos the Donkey to lead the procession, Easter decorations, and sunsets.  Also, our little Annie is in Alaska, playing in the snow.

This week, Cookie wants to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.

Paskar -- Iceland (Easter, the day trolls and evil beings sleep through the day, so an auspicious day to look for the wishing stone)
