Boring’s Not In Her Vocabulary (Six Sentence Story), Good Fences, Sammy’s Poetry Day, and Brian’s Thankful Thursday, an April A-to-Z Post

 ***********************************

Working with Ms. G has many perks, one of which is it's seldom boring.

There are certain chores which need to be done in a certain order if possible, and every week, again, if possible.

Most weeks there's an interruption at some point in the process for us to do special projects, whether in the house or out of it, and the most often interrupted or delayed is the much needed vacuuming, as she has cats, including long-haired Sassy and medium-long-haired Mr. Gray, both of whom shed like crazy.  These interruptions can include errands, work at other homes, or special outdoor chores.

Yesterday, Ms. G had to be at the hospital with a friend whom she'd taken to the ER the night before and who was now inpatient, as tests were being done and results were starting to come in.

Thus i was at the house by myself and therefore i was able to scoop litter boxes and replenish them, restock the fridge with drinks, water and feed the outdoor critters, get the garbage and recycle out, clean the glass doors, and most important and not done for long enough that it couldn't be delayed, vacuum everything and every place which a vacuum can possibly reach, getting an impossibly huge amount of cat hair out of the residence.

While Good Fences Around the World seems to have gone the way of the dodo bird, i still enjoy looking for and posting interesting fences, so i will!

Angel Brian's Family of Brian's Home - Forever hosts the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.   It's time to share something for which i am thankful.

Today i am thankful i was home Tuesday evening when Ms. G texted she was stuck at the ER with a friend and could i run to her house and let Mr. Gray outside, and i was able to do so right away.  Mr. Gray is allowed in any time he needs in, but he has a tendency to spray if not watched (yes, he's fixed) and left in the house too long, April will start a fight with him, so getting him his outdoor time is essential.

  1. Glad you could finally get Mrs G's house vacuumed...can you com eand do mine now?? LOL! Benji seems to always have a cloud of loose fur around him...I am sure Dalton sheds, but his fur is so short, I only see it in the brush, or on my black pants.

  4. Cute picture with a fun poem. And I enjoy the fence with the magical door. Mrs G is a busy lady that was kind of a nice change for you to have the place to yourself while you worked.

  5. Yes! It's the best time to vacuum everything, when everyone is gone. And ironic timing for the poem as the cat here acts like a puppy and keeps biting me if I don't play with him an sit on the phone instead.... They are pointy indeed...

  6. We imagine you jumping with joy, singing and dancing while cleaning and vacuuming because of having the place to yourself and the freedom to finally get things done without interruption.

  11. Why do cats shed so much fur? My little cat, Luna, sheds huge amounts - oodles and oodles - and she has very short fur; it seems it makes no difference. Loved the photo and the two poems!
