It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.
Last week at Carl's place on Monday, i made the rookie mistake of not asking him if he'd taken a shower yet, and he was almost late leaving for work.
This time i wasn't going to make that mistake, so i asked him the moment i walked in, and he had indeed already showered. As i shooed him out the door later, he said, "I haven't brushed my teeth!"
Curses, foiled again.
Later, when i was putting away his socks, i couldn't get the dresser drawer to close correctly. My go-to solution for that is to take the drawer out, because there is almost always something causing it. There was.

All through the morning, Ms. S and Ms. GA were calling and texting me. It seems KikiCat has gotten sick, and Ms. S was looking for someone to get her to a vet, any vet that would take her (most were telling her it would be a week before they could work her in). They finally found one, and she's fine, just a little sniffly. She got a shot and now she's taking it out on Ms. S and won't get on the bed to cuddle!
At Ms. PA's house, Mr. Jack seemed a little more aware of what's going on yesterday. When i asked what he was doing, he said, "Oh, we just sit around, we don't do anything productive anymore!"
Then i asked him if he still says his prayers. "Of course I do!" he said. (Spoken like a man who has attended the same church for almost 60 years and has served as a Deacon.) Well then, i told him, you are being productive, prayer is some of the hardest work of the church!
He was quite pleased with that assessment.
