We were so very excited,
We’d waited for this day,
And sometimes as it wore on,
There was nothing much to say.
Someone special was coming,
Many had been the plans,
To herald his arrival,
We knew we’d be his fans.
At the end of much great labor,
He showed up screaming, wet and wild,
Then i looked into the eyes of my
Firstborn baby child.
