Untypical night, wander upstairs tired at 9pm, read devotions and pray, turn over to go to sleep, spend next 3 hours tossing and turning.
Midnight to 2am, doze a bit, and every time i start to fall asleep, Sweetie coughs or i do, start a prayer litany at 12:30 to try to help because sometimes it makes me drift off, but instead actually get through the whole litany because of being reawakened so many times.
Two to 4am, nod off, mostly, only to be awakened by Link Linker the Stinker's snoring -- there's nothing quite like being in bed with a snoring cat -- ask myself why i have cats, then remember it's because i like them so much and they're quieter than dogs, snort.
Take thyroid meds around 4am, doze a bit off and on until 4:45, realize it's time to get up so i won't be late for work.
Get up, restroom, stretch, head for door, almost trip over Tripod SissyCat, almost trip over Link as he races to beat me to the door because, despite his snoring, he is obviously very well rested indeed and is ready for his breakfast.
It's time to get the day started, insulin shot for Dansig the Round, teeth, Bible and Lent study, hit the door running because, no matter how little sleep, there's a full day of work ahead and no time to lounge around.

While Good Fences Around the World seems to have gone the way of the dodo bird, i still enjoy looking for and posting interesting fences, so i will!
A neighbor has what i call a "mullet fence," after the hairstyle known as a mullet. The fence is business in the front, wild party in the back.

Man, how did I ever allow
someone to talk me of how
something like this would be so cool
and now I wonder if I was a fool.
It makes people stare and that's no wonder,
the whole car looks like a great, big blunder.
It's hard to steer and hard to maintain,
I'd almost rather a car that looks like a train!
(The driver of this car owns a garage and built it, and i actually think it's kinda cool, but that's the poem which wanted to come out.)
