Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.
That incredulous look you get when you just gave a cat treat to the dog:

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. ______________________ brings out the best in me.
2. _______________________makes me grumpier than Grumpy Cat.
3. If money grew on trees, I would _________.
4. I have a fear of _________.
1. Asking The Lord what He wants me to do to help in various situations brings out the best in me.
2. Traffic makes me grumpier than Grumpy Cat. (Never am i more seriously tempted to lose my cool than when sitting behind someone who is trying to merge onto the freeway while doing 30-40mph under the speed limit. Praying is not optional at that point, it is mandatory if i don't want to say things i have to confess and repent of later.)
3. If money grew on trees, i would give away seedlings to people i know could use them.
4. I have a fear of the house flooding again. Also i am afraid we will never be able to afford the repairs it needs.

Cats just rock that look of complete bemusement don't they? I hope your rare day off was blissful.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great cat look! I will have the same answer for #1 & #3. And I understand how you feel in #4. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteTraffic gets to me, too. I hate the ones who wait until the last minute to merge or, worse yet, exit. Sometimes you see them wait until the last minute and then try to cross multiple lanes of traffic to get off at an exit that they knew they had to make. Have a blessed week.
ReplyDeleteLQQKING absolutely disgusted heheh!
ReplyDeleteI liked your fill-ins especially 3.:-)
Have a bemusedtastic weekend :-)
I initially misread that as Flirting Appreciation Day and got all excited...
ReplyDelete*nevermind*
I think some of us neglect asking God for direction in our lives because we fear what He will tell us. His plans for us rarely agree with what we had planned for the day.
ReplyDeleteThe Day against Intolerance is a bit confusing since there is nothing more intolerant than the intolerance of the tolerant towards those they deem intolerant...or something like that. Have a blessed week-end.
I can understand your fear. We had our basement not too long ago and had to refinish it, which it is still not totally complete.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that we bothered this kitty. Sorry about that. See ya Mimi.
ReplyDeleteCruisin Paul
Your kitty looks miffed. Thanks for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am not in traffic often, but it is frustrating when it happens. I hope your house doesn't ever flood again, that must have been awful. Have a nice weekend! XO
ReplyDeleteLove the cat picture and your comment on money on trees!
ReplyDeleteI've seen that look when Lucy doesn't get as many treats as she thinks she should!
ReplyDeleteI love that look on the kitties face. I concur with that look too. Why in the world are you giving the dog my treats.
ReplyDeleteLove all your fill-ins. I hadn't thought of the traffic, but there are so many people driving that shouldn't be. Bless their hearts.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥
Cats have a way of giving the perfect looks
ReplyDeleteOh, I get that same look when my dog gets a treat right along with the cats. There are always so many feline eyes judging and scorning me in that moment. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Your #1 is perfect. I am so sorry about the flooding. My neighbors used to have terrible issues with their basement flooding, until they had it all fixed up. I'm praying that yours gets all patched up and all is well!
ReplyDeleteOur Female Human says "AMEN" TO #1 and as far as the "crankiness in traffic" thing goes, we have been in the metal moving machine with The Female Human and boy does she get cranky. She could use a little feline chill when she's driving the metal moving machine!
ReplyDeletePurrs & Head Bonks,
Tucker
What a handsome and alert kitty!
ReplyDeleteHappy Day to you,
