Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. I have _______________ for ____________.
2. _________________ make me _____________________.
3. I’m surprised that _________.
4. To make a long story short, _________.
I have my colonoscopy scheduled for next Friday. There was a cancellation, otherwise i would be having to wait until December!
Seeing an orphaned elephant at a rescue breaking off branches from a tree and passing them to his smaller friend so the friend can eat too makes me wonder what in the world is wrong with us people that we can't get along.
I'm surprised that no one has found the Halloween candy stash yet. Maybe this newest hiding place will be a keeper from year to year.
To make a long story short, use fewer words! Sorry, i couldn't resist, so i didn't!

The only time I have successfully hid anything was when I gave up and just left it out in the open. It was not found. For me, it just doesn't work to try to hide anything. Have a blessed week.
ReplyDeleteMimi,
ReplyDeleteSo glad you got a break in the scheduling of your colonoscopy. I'll say a special pray that all goes well. These are never fun and as you know I had mine recently. It pays to stay pro-active in one's health. We have only one life and we need to make the most of it. I agree, it's amazing to see how animals treat one another and humans can't get along to save their necks. I need someone to hide the Halloween candy from me. lol It's so hard to stay out of it. :)
I just love seeing pups and kitties being friends, or at least tolerating each other. Coda and Mikey, are you two good friends? Around here, pup Astrid doesn't like other dogs, but she sure loves kitties.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! What a heartwarming story about the elephants. I completely agree, though, that it's also a good lesson for us humans. We really could learn a lot from animals. Wishing you well with your colonoscopy!
