Fault (Cajun Joke), Ceiling Tiles (Sunday Selections) and Update

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Yesterday, Grandma asked me to take her to the craft store, supposedly just to buy craft paper, but i knew the danger.  Sure enough, she wandered over to the fairy garden supplies, "Just to see what they have."

Half a basketful later, she told me, "Why did you let me do this, it's your fault!" and we both laughed.

Tee Boudreaux done be walkin' an' lookin' at de phone, like so many do, an' he jes walk in de street in front de car dat din't have time to stop.

De driver jump out an' say, "I be so sorry, you be okay?  I din't see you till you step out in de street!"

An' Tee say, "Mais, it be all my fault, I done been run over befo'!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It is now hosted by River at Drifting Through Life.    

The hospital where #1 Son spent the better part of a week has a children's ward.  The children who can and want to are encouraged to paint a ceiling tile, and the ceilings throughout the hospital are liberally sprinkled with them.  They are cheery and encourage people to look up. 

My pictures of them are not that great (i only work a Ph.D camera, you know, Push here, Dummy) and i promised myself that when i had time i would crop them and make them look better.  If i wait that long, they will never get posted, so here goes.

#1 Son actually went to work yesterday for a couple of hours.  They know he needs work, and they are letting him only do what he can do with one hand, for as many hours as he wants.
