Halloween Recap (Awww Monday), Inspiring Quote of the Week, and Too Busy (Poetry Monday)

***********************************

Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays.  Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.

Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you.  What better way to start the week than with a smile!

Halloween was so cold we froze our candy.  These were the best pictures i could get of our setup and of our littles, blankets, coats and all:

Coda likes her wings, Jezzie wouldn't even let us try to get her costume on;

Little Girl's pumpkin -- Gandalf fighting the Balrog.

The highlight of Lee's evening, Gigi (me) gave him his first piece of candy for the night.

Our little princess was not sad, i am not sure why she didn't want to smile.

It's hard to tell but there's a dragon costume under there somewhere.

Sparks, the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, is on hiatus, so here's an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border.  She and Jenny at Procrastinating Donkey take turns providing a theme each week, and Mother Owl almost always participates, too.  This weeks theme is Busy Days.

Busy days, are there any other kind?
Busy days, there is no time to unwind.
Busy days, it's a treadmill of the mind,
Busy days, i can hide but they will find.

Busy days, there is always one more chore.
Busy days, all the jobs you can't ignore.
Busy days, turning life into a bore.
Busy days, how i long for something more.
