Gooey and Good Sandwiches and Fascinating Photos, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

***********************************

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Today is our ladies' circle meeting, the one where we discuss the C.S. Lewis book.  A couple of months ago i decided to step out and say i would bring the sandwiches to the February meeting.

Instead of a sandwich tray, i am making sandwiches that i haven't made in several years.

Take King's Hawaiian rolls and slice the whole batch in half.  Cover each half in Durkee Sandwich Sauce, and be generous with the meat and cheese (ham and Swiss work well, as do turkey and Cheddar).  Put the top of the rolls back on, and pour melted butter and poppyseed salad dressing over it all, then pop the sandwiches in the oven for the cheese to get all bubbly and the butter and dressing to meld into a gooey goodness.

Slice and serve and listen to the compliments!

If they turn out well, i'll try to remember to post a picture tomorrow for Wordless Wednesday.

Once again, pictures forwarded to me by Grandma:

Hope everyone has a fabulous Tuesday!
