Enthusiasm (Awww Monday), Inspiring Quote of the Week, and Blue (Poetry Monday)

***********************************

Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays.  Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.

Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you.  What better way to start the week than with a smile!

It’s hard to get a picture of Jezzie, she is so enthusiastic she doesn’t want to stop moving and pose for the camera.

Even if she’s being still a moment, that tail is not!

Sparks, the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, is on hiatus, so here's an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Border She and Jenny at Procrastinating Donkey take turns providing a theme each week.   Charlotte/Mother Owl almost always participates, too.  This week the theme is Blue.

My favorite color is purple
But i am glad, it’s true
That today we are rhyming
With the color blue.

‘Cause nothing rhymes with purple,
And orange and silver, too,
But there are plenty of choices,
When the color you rhyme is blue.

When people have the sads
They sometimes say, “I’m so blue!”
But that gives blue such a bad rap
Let’s give this color its due!

Blue is pretty skies
Fresh as the morning dew,
Blue is the ocean deep
As far as you can view.

My sad days are gray to me
The happy days, skies are blue,
On those days i’m going out
To raise a hullabaloo!

And yes, calling days where we struggle under a concrete cloud never seems fair to me.

  13. Aw, look at that sweet face of anticipation on Jezzie! I love the tail that won't stop wagging.

I agree about blue as a word for sadness, too. To me sadness is more of that gray-brown mixture you get when you mix all the colours of paint together hoping to get something good but it turns out a mess :)
