Nothing to Complain About (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

The traffic on the way down to our vacation place was rather stiff, but it got much worse the closer we got to where we were going.  It seems there is some road construction and it is causing a very, very long delay and making travel down the major highway a major pain (it took almost a half hour to go five miles from the grocery to where we are staying).

Boudreaux an' Clothile done be travel 'cause Clothile allus done want see California.  Dey done took dem de plane, an' Boudreaux overhear some one from dere plane tellin' de frien' who come to pick him up at the airport how bad de flight done been, how long de delay.

Boudreaux whisper to Clothile,  "Did you hear how dat man be complain 'bout de trip?  If'n, he t'ink dat trip be bad, how do he t'ink he would have enjoy goin' from cross de country a hunnerd year ago?  Mais, on dat trip you gots to walk, an' half de people done die an' lots o' babies be born an' you get to California an' you ain't even wit' de same people!"
