The tiniest kittens at the shelter this past week had the biggest mess in their cage, they’d knocked over a whole food bowl.

Cute tiny kittens. Desk job can be boring and not so life touching job.
ReplyDeleteOh those cheeky, gorgeous kittens. I never had a desk job, never had a degree either, but I think I would go nuts sitting at a desk all day. I always worked in jobs where I moved around a lot.

ReplyDeleteI am an outdoor type and an office life would not have suited me. My first job was as a vet's assistant and that was before qualified vet techs, so I did a bit of everything. That included helping in operations, removing sutures, home visits, cleaning the surgery at the end of the day, and even a bit of poodle clipping. I did do a stint in a factory, but being indoors all the time drove me nuts so I left and started up our horse livery yard. I used to do full liveries which I loved, but as I got older and the big C visited me I have changed to DIY liveries. I do get carried away with my comments sometimes and end up telling my life history. Sorry.

ReplyDeleteI have a degree and have had desk jobs. I think they are over rated. If I had my time again I would probably still study (for a different degree) but would not want to spend my time behind a desk. Or not much of it anyway.
What? National Skipping Day in the UK? No one told me that. I'll skip it until tomorrow.

The one response I disagree with you on is the last one. I jumped out of school a year before I should, and consequently I missed out on all the exams and gained no qualifications! I'm really glad I did because I've had a wonderfully varied and rewarding career doing this, that and the other without sticking to the path that a degree in a certain subject would have dictated.

ReplyDeleteLove your fill-ins. I came to the conclusion to get my degree too and did get that desk job in my later years. I could have done it sooner, but I was to busy partying. I finally woke up.
