Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (who no longer blogs), and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

Lewis and Sunshine are two of the last remaining ferals of Ms. GA's colony, and they are best friends. Miss Alice is the other, i've had pictures of her before here, too.

The cats look well cared for. I'm with you on a toaster oven. I've used one for years and when it is too hot for the range-oven this is great.
