Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (who no longer blogs), and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Sometimes the kitties eat a lot at night and drink a lot at night, or sometimes they play in the water and spill most of it, and they are still very thirsty when they get their water bowl refilled in the morning.

1. Before winter arrives, I need to stock up on _________. This isn't stocking up, really, i need a new heating pad, we need one more space heater, and my slippers have gone AWOL so it's probably time for a new pair anyway.
2. Only just over a week until Sweetie turns 70.
3. I was relieved to find out Mr. L only had the flu, not Covid, and he was pretty well over it by the time i went back over there to clean.
4. Reading the paper every morning is was a shocker.

I like your Friday fill-ins. MIne were not hat optimistic, and the first impossible, "Before winter arrives, I need to stock up on _Sunshine_. Sigh."
ReplyDeleteNot just kittens that love water. All his life Eric had a passion for it. We had to turn the drinking fountain off at night because he would scrape all the water out. After several mornings of finding the kitchen floor flooded we got an over sized litter box and put it in there. He still managed to get quite a bit on the floor.
ReplyDeleteNow there's some good pictures of kittens having a great time trying to get to the water dish. Precious loves her water but mostly in the morning right after breakfast.
ReplyDeleteWhy do cats insist on being crazy in the dark of the night? Old man Bert likes to meow around at 1 am. Like we are going to get up and do anything with him. Thankfully it is only a few minutes and then we can all get back to sleep.

ReplyDeleteMy Angel used to dip his paws in the water, I think just to be sure there actually was water in the bowl, because then he would drink, but never tipped it out. I always use a heavy metal bowl with a base wider than the top so it's hard to tip.
