Eight times a year, Thankful Day comes after rEcess night, and i am running like a crazy person on that Friday, getting ready for rEcess. No time to waste.
Mr. BA and Ms. GA were out of town last weekend, i'm thankful i managed to squeeze cat care into the usual busy-ness. Also, i'm thankful they let me do laundry there when i cat-sit, it catches me up.
Sweetie and i drove down to NOLA Saturday in a monsoon. It was so bad, almost all the cars on the road were lined up in a row, hazards flashing, doing about 45mph, creeping along and following each other to stay on the road, which we could barely see. It's been a while since we had that bad a storm, we're thankful to have made it safely.
My Monday was not roasted or salted, it was just pain nuts! Ms. V and Carl got swapped so i worked long, then did another job, then had errands, and it never seemed to stop. Somehow i still got everything done and got to see a friend at the post office whom i hadn't seen in a while. It was nice to catch up.
The Ladies' Circle meeting was Tuesday, and for the first time at this circle, i brought the lesson. I was very concerned, but it was well received, even the usual teacher enjoyed it, and i'm very thankful. Also, we just had a plain good time, always welcome.
Ms. G was out of town the rest of the week, so i was thankful to stay extra long at the shelter Wednesday.

ReplyDeleteI see garlic bread! Yuuuuum :) I am thankful for Garlic Bread and whoever invented that deserves a medal. I'm also thankful a wedding I attended went very well and the twins are growing well and strong.
