Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute). Then add your link!
One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do. So come and join us in Feline Friday.
What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
For the second week in a row, a kitten cage had been inadvertently left open and this time there were two escapees. The first approached and i took pics as i talked to her to keep her from running off, then snagged her and put her back in her cage. As i was doing so, her brother came to investigate and i nabbed him as well.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. You know you are in _________ when _________.
2. I am pleased with _________.
3. I wish I had the superpower of _________ so that I could _________.
4. I still have _________ from my childhood.
1. You know you are in hot water when momma uses your whole, full name.
2. I am pleased with my new eye doctor.
3. I wish I had the superpower of "supersleep" so that I could only have to actually sleep an hour or two each day to be well rested. Imagine all the stuff i could get done!
4. I still have my original birth certificate from my childhood, the kind which almost looks like a photo negative, with the handwriting of the person at the hospital who filled it out in old fashioned cursive.

Well caught with those super sweet escapees.
ReplyDeleteSuper sleep would be wonderful. And a big yes to the use of your full name. It meant that the hot water was deep.
Those sweet little escapees felt like they were on a big adventure. I 100% agree with #1 fill in, and I also still have #4.
ReplyDeleteNice kittens.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
It was little kittens are already practicing cat curiosity. And my birth certificate is so old it's very large and it has my handprints and my footprints on it.
ReplyDeleteOhh, cute kitten escapees. And I'm happy you updated your text on Great prayer day - not happy with the facts, but with your update ;)
ReplyDeleteAdorable kittens. The black and white looks like my angel, Emmy. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you have a good eye dr. now. Coda is a cute pup. XO
ReplyDeleteSome day I will have a cat again!
ReplyDeleteSqueeeeee! What gorgeous little ones. I guess kittens can squeeze through smaller spaces so escape is inevitable now and then. I hope they find their forever home very soon.
ReplyDeleteThose wee Houdinis are so cute! Those were really good answers too and #1 is really true. It's nice to see you sweet Coda!
ReplyDeleteThe escapees are adorable. Great Fill-ins!
ReplyDeleteSweet kitty photos ~ adorable ~ hope they have a forever home soon ~ Coda is handsome as ever! hugs,

WOW well done on each blog hop. What a darling little kitty and those eyes. YES indeedy you are correct on #1 fill in.
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
Is it the same cage as last time? The lock might need examining to see why it doesn't lock properly. Coda is as handsome as always.
ReplyDeleteOh the kittens. Good thing I am not there as I love the black and white one. Nick's Rose was like the little one. Aw.....so sweet
ReplyDeleteI am still trying to get acclimated back to my blogs. I forget to post last weeks Fill in's so they went on one blog today and the this week on the other. hahaha....life is wild here most days. I feel so much better blogging if my photo app would fix my pics and such. I am so clueless with technology. In fact it drives me crazy..Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteSuch adorable little escapees!
ReplyDeleteCute kitty pics! Great fill ins. I need to get a new eye doctor too. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOur mom remembers getting yelled at by her full name when she was a kid. She just had to request a new certified copy of her birth certificate from California to get that stupid REAL ID on her Driver’s License. The VA DMV would not accept the one she had, and she let her Passport expire. Those kittens are so adorable and definitely mischievous. Have a great weekend. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
ReplyDeleteHandsome Coda. And those two kitties are too cute to be called escapees - just little explorers:0
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
Chaplin: "Oh, that little Tuxedo kitty is so cute! He reminds me of me at that age."
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Hopefully he doesn't grow up to be as obnoxious as you ..."
Chaplin: "What?"
Charlee: "Nothing."
Oona: "A couple of times here the wind has stopped the door to the garage from closing all the way and Oona got to sneak in there and go exploring. Then Dada put a spring on it so it closes itself and the wind can't push it. Now Oona is plotting her next move ..."
Coda sure is a good looking pup. As for those kittens, they're the cutest little fugitives ever. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, when Momma uses you're whole name, you're most definitely in big, big trouble!
Have a great week, Mimi!
