Catching It All (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Yesterday we arrived at Grandma and Grandpa's house to and my Sweetie had just gotten started with the vacuuming when one of the prongs of the plug quite literally fell out -- it did not snap off the end, it fell out of its place in the plug.

This meant a quick trip to the nearest store which sells small appliances and the purchase of a new one.

Clothile allus done be fussin' 'bout de gossip dat go on an' Boudreaux done try to make her laugh so he say, "Don' worry 'bout dem ladies, be worry 'bout you vacuum cleaner."

An' Clothile ax, "What fo' I should worry 'bout dat?"

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, it been collectin' dirt on you fo' years!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

This week, Emmie wants to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.

  2. Funny about the vacuum plug. I just started planting my gladious this weekend. It is 42 this morn!
