Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute). Then add your link!
One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do. So come and join us in Feline Friday.
What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
Today's Feline Friday is also linking up with Pet Photo Fails, which is hosted by Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries & Meows.
The photos are rather awful because I couldn't get the cat to be still, but Mr. BA and Ms. GA have a black and white cat named Buddy. Buddy has a stunt double.
| Note the white tail tip. |
This is not Buddy, this is the next-door-neighbor's cat named Domino. He comes in to visit often.
The only way to tell the difference between them is the tiny white spot, seen in the blurry photo above, on the tip of Domino's tail!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. The best part of 2025 was _____________________.
2. My focus word for 2026 is ________________________.
3. I always _________ in the days after Christmas.
4. I’ve had enough _________ to last a lifetime.
1. The best part of 2025 was getting to play with our little Annie.
2. My focus word for 2026 is treat, as in, treat others the way you'd want them to treat you.
3. I always work in the days after Christmas.
4. I’ve had enough political news to last a lifetime. Unfortunately, it's not going to stop anyway.

Nature Friday is hosted by LLB in Our Backyard. Simply post a picture of the natural world, and link up!
We've had some foggy days lately. The decorated trees in the fog were an interesting sight.

It is nice of Domino to visit Buddy. Good fill ins. I agree with #4, all of the politics drives me crazy, so I keep away from the TV most of the time.
ReplyDeleteThe fog makes the trees and lights look mysterious.
of all the posts about boxing day, you have told me in simple English what it is.. I love that giving to those in need.. love the stunt doulbe story and looks like the tail was dipped in white paint. I have been practicing this year with my husband to treat hims as I would want to be treated if I could not walk and had to be waited on, It sounds easy but is not but is sure works well
ReplyDeleteI guess someone has to be very careful to know which cat is which. That way the right one can go home to the right house. What a foggy picture. We had fog the last two mornings. At least it's above freezing. Happy Friday
ReplyDeleteBuddy and Domino are cuties. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you had a lot of time with Little Annie this year. XO

ReplyDeleteChaplin: "Hmm, this reminds me a bit of how sometimes people have trouble telling me and Charlee apart. All they have to remember though is that Charlee is a skunk and I'm not."
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "I AM NOT A SKUNK!"
Chaplin: "Exactly what a skunk would say."
Great fill ins. I should have thought of #4. I feel the same way. The kitty pics are cute.
