It's the day of The Great Neighborhood Candy Exchange, and we get to give out candy and see all the kids and parents. Also, we have plenty of candy, and the candy bowl for which to be thankful.

Several years ago, i hit upon the idea of buying a small bag of candy with every trip to the store as soon as it appeared, in early September. That way, i don't even notice it in the budget! Another thankful, there's no more last minute panic of trying to find the money to go buy candy.
