Many of you will remember #2 Son's Chihuahua, Jezzie. He couldn't take care of her with his work schedule, so she was with us. We, of course, had the same trouble. We made an effort to rehome her, and found a couple who'd recently lost their 17-year-old Chihuahua and were grieving.
They renamed her Jax, and that's the photo they sent us a few days ago, along with this text:
Sweet little Jax, we just love her so much. She is a good little doggie. She has four beds in the house, she goes to sleep when Ron does, sleeping in her little bed in our room and whining in the morning when she needs to go out.
She doesn't want Ron out of her sight. She loves to ride in the car, and is very smart and understands most things.
She's a picky eater but we won't give her people food. She likes a certain soft dog food now.
We could not lover her any more than we do. I really truly believe God had His way of sending her to us because He knew we were grieving over our previous dog. Jax filled our empty home and hearts.
Thanks so much for giving her to us, she has been a blessing to us!

Not being the crafty type
We didn't do gingerbread much,
Our family was more into eating
Than crafting from food as such.
The one time we bought a kit
The house kept falling down.
We finally gave in and just ate it,
Which prevented every frown.
So if you make those lovely
Houses we sometimes see,
Just pass a leftover scrap to eat,
That's good enough for me!
