Ms. G's eldest cat came with her house. Lucky is 16 and now has a thyroid problem, but she loves being outside most of the time. She never lets anyone besides Ms. G come near her, until i started working there. She let me pet her head once this week!

Friendly Fill-Ins are four fun and easy statements to complete. Ellen of 15andmeowing provides the first two statements and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader. They try to make sure they will be fun to both answer and share. On Friday, the linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM. Please head to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
Week 13: August 5, 2016
1. I am most proud of my children and how hard they work.
2. I am embarrassed to admit how badly the Jalopy needs cleaning out right now. Typical, right? The shoemaker's wife goes shoeless and the housekeeper can't keep her work vehicle clean!
3. My super-power might be being able to stay calm in most emergency situations.
4. I really wish i could get our home A/C fully repaired instead of bandaged. Same goes for all of our old vehicles and the problems they have.

ReplyDeleteAww! looks like your getting there with her congrats on the pat heheh!
ReplyDeleteHave a pattastic day :-)
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins,, great answers. AC is great when it works well and frustrating when it doesn't- kind of like a computer :) Your kids sound great. And your kitty is adorable. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDelete#3 is a great super power. Getting all freaked out, even when the situation warrants it, doesn't make it any easier to deal with. Staying calm is best all the way around.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed weekend. :)
Keep calm and send the Marines!
ReplyDeleteThe old saying is that you can tell how good a mechanic is by how bad HIS WIFE'S car runs. If it is in purrfect working condition, then find a new mechanic.
Awww on the Queen. She looks very regal indeed.
ReplyDeleteI wish you had all new vehicles and they were paid for. I also wish you have a new air conditioning unit and it was all paid for too.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday. ☺
Lucky looks pretty good for sixteen, which I believe is 112 in cat years.
ReplyDeleteThere is definitely something regal about Lucky. That pic just oozes royalty!
ReplyDeleteMy Lovely Lola had thyroid issues ...not fun. This kitty looks so regal for sure!
ReplyDeleteI bet she enjoys your attention!
I can relate to putting bandaids on things. We are trying to remove some and fix things that were put off when Bill was on the road so much. I stay calm in crisis, too. Maybe it is a super power. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to be late, again. I am a bit overwhelmed with life. Please be patient with me. Things will settle down. They always do.
