Nonchalant Cats and Sharing the Fill-In Fun

Feline Friday is hosted by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is..
1) post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute)
2) go to Steve's page, linked above, then on the menu bar click on the Feline Friday tab to get the code
3) paste the code under your cat picture
4) add your name and link
That’s all there is to it! Be sure to check back every so often and visit all the Feline Friday bloggers. Also, please leave a nice comment on their blogs. Nasty comments will be deleted!
How have the cats been reacting to all of the recent weather and flooding troubles?  Like cats, of course.

This is as far as I'm reaching today!

C'mon, turn on the water already, I'm thirsty!

Excuse me, I'm trying to nap here!

What it comes down to is, as long as they are fed, they don't care what else is going on in the world!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

My fill-ins for the statements are underlined:

  1. Your kitties are such cuties. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I never really think about fires, but that is a scary thought. I feel bad for burn survivors and all they go through so stay alive.
Accomplishing a goal does feel good. Have a great weekend.

  5. Pretty kitties! :) And I love your fill-in answers - I do that too, the using a different shaped pasta for another when I'm out. :) YES! I'm scared of fire, too. Unless it's a campfire roasting marshmallows. :)

Substitutions, Gurus, Fear and Empowerment – just some Fun Friendly Fill-Ins on a Friday!

  6. Cats are always survivors and don't seem to get too involved with things not directly related to them.

  8. The thought of being in a fire and burning to death scares me, too. One of the most upsetting events in my childhood happened because of a lady getting burned to death in a fire. Her husband came to my Aunt Mae's house crying, reliving the awful thing that had happened years before. I think that I'll remember his story and tears forever. It was the first time I'd ever seen a man cry. His house had caught fire with his wife inside of it. He couldn't get in to save her, but could see her standing there calling for him, for help, being burned to death. It was an awful story.

I pray something so awful as that never happens to any of us!

I'm not picky with my pasta either.

    Your kitties are precious. :)

    Have a blessed weekend!

  10. You are so right about cats, if their needs are met they are happy! :-) I wish we had nothing more to worry about than they do!

I agree about pasta, it all tastes about the same so who cares a out how it looks! Oooh, fire is very scary, I agree that the prospect of being trapped in a fire is terrifying, and so is the worry about getting our furkids out!

I agree with you on number 2 and number 4 too!
