R for Runty, and Friendly Fill-in Fun

Feline Friday is hosted by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is..

1) post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute)

2) go to Steve's page, linked above, then on the menu bar click on the Feline Friday tab to get the code

3) paste the code under your cat picture

4) add your name and link

That’s all there is to it! Be sure to check back every so often and visit all the Feline Friday bloggers. Also, please leave a nice comment on their blogs. Nasty comments will be deleted!

Today's feline picture is a blast from our past in honor of the letter R, a picture of our cat Runty.  He was a runt, but he grew up to take over the whole house!

He was a gray cat, although it's called blue in the cat world.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

My fill-ins for the statements are underlined:

  2. MessyMimi, We had a chiluahua puppy who was a runt that we named Tiny. He barely survived but grew to be a normal size. :) What this you say, the Red Baron was shot down in 1918? Did Snoopy do it? :D lol The Louvre would be an incredible place to visit. I put my answers in Annie's post yesterday. Be sure to come over to visit my Art Sketching Through the Alphabet "R" (realist rabbit & rascally roadrunner). I seriously doubt you'll ever find my works in a museum or art gallery someday. Have a good weekend and happy A2Zing!

  4. Runty was a cute kitty. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. You are so fortunate to have been to Europe and the Louvre. I am glad your family was together on Easter, sorry the food wasn't great though Have a nice weekend!

  5. It's good to remember those special kitties from our past. They remain embedded in our hearts forever.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and an even better weekend. ☺

  6. I need to do some skipping to wear off the effect of all those chocolate covered cashew truffles! Oh, and Happy Birthday Ma-am.

    Another day in Amble Bay!

  7. I love "blue" cats, Runty was a handsome guy! You were so blessed to have all of your family together for Easter! It is disappointing though when the food isn't as good as you expect. I really don't feel there's an excuse for restaurants to serve food that is of poor quality. I hope the desserts were at least good! :-)

  8. It seems that several of us are posting pictures today of beloved pets.

  9. oh, the Louvre, I agree that place is amazing! And I do think that Europe pretty much counts as an entire awesome historical place, if you just know where to look. Love your fill in answers, blessings!

  10. Yes, a Russian Blue! I had one, but sadly she didn't get along with the rest of my cats. The Louvre! Too cool! I find things often aren't as good as I remember them. Are things really getting worse or are we just jaded? Food often disappoints, but movies and TV shows are usually as good as I remember them. :)

  11. Gray or blue, your kitty was a handsome boy. I think the Louvre beats my American Museum of Natural History, but I will settle for the dinosaur skeletons and the mummies. I can't imagine a restaurant serving inferior food for Easter inner. You should've booked dinner at our house ;)

  12. Those runts have a way of taking over. Chloe Jo was a runt. MY first Maine Coon, Bob, was a Blue Smoke. We have had a few greys/blues. I always loved that colour for cats.
We went out for Easter dinner. It was our first time to do so. We were pleased. I am happy your loved ones all came to yours! Hugs!
I remember love bugs from when I was a kid in SE Texas. They were also "popular" in the Love & peace culture at that time. Ha!

  15. It is sad when places decline in value. We have an icon restaurant in our town, Larry's Mexican Restaurant. At one point people would drive hundreds of miles to eat there. Now, it is just a little sad place on the side of the road.

  16. We have a zillion lovebugs around here, too.

I'm sorry that the restaurant was a disappointment, but very glad you had everyone there for Easter.

We are Aggie parents. I didn't know about Aggie Muster Day. Thank you for sharing that. I will have to learn more about it.

    Have a blessed weekend. :)

  17. I LOVE the name 'Runty'! :)

I'm glad you had everyone show up for Easter Dinner - sorry the restaurant didn't hold up to the memories of how good it was in the past.

One of these days I'm determined to get to Europe!! I'd love to visit the Louvre - and everywhere else! :)

  18. Oh I am so jealous you've been to the Louvre! That must have been incredible. And I would love to go to Europe anywhere too -- I feel like I've seen quite a bit on this side of the pond, but I'd love to go see some real history.
