Yesterday morning's newspaper had a big front page article about someone hired by the local mayor's office who resigned because he wasn't all he claimed to be. He'd been hired in part because he was supposed to have a degree from a prestigious university, and of course the press decided to confirm that fact. He was actually a few hours short of receiving the degree. His response was that those few hours shouldn't matter, he'd done the work and it was close enough.
Boudreaux an' Clothile was listenin' to a political candidate on TV, an' hear de man say, "If I am elected, I promise transparency in office!"
