It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.
Upon arriving at Carl's yesterday, he asked me about ordering groceries to be delivered. When i told him he'd need to ask his parents about that, he said, "No, I placed the order, but I think the credit card number is in there wrong, what do I do about it?" As we worked to make sure the right number was entered, he was putting canned whipped cream on top of his morning soda, which he then set on the table next to his breakfast broccoli, the bran cereal with yoghurt, and the prunes.
Sometimes it makes me wonder if i live in some kind of parallel universe.
At Ms. PA's house, she was bragging (in a good way) on her wonderful son. When he's anxious, he goes in the kitchen and cooks. He keeps his parents stocked with food in their freezer so that all she has to do is thaw, heat, and serve.
He'd just brought a big supply on Sunday, and she said, "It includes stuffed shrimp, can you imagine that, and beef stroganoff, whatever that is."
When i told her it is a beef dish in sauce, she said, "Well, why doesn't he just tell me he brought me beef and gravy! All these fancy words, I just don't know what they mean."
On that note, how about some of the stuff Grandma sends me.
Have a blessed and beautiful Tuesday, everyone!

LOL, some great funnies once again! It's great to start the day with some laughs. Mom cooks up extra stuff and freezes it for Gramma, but she never questions what is in the containers.
ReplyDeleteI really loved the memes especially the pincushion one. Have a great Tuesday Mimi.

Loved the little girl helping lick up the spilled milk. Reminded me of my daughter at about that same age eating with the dog out of the dog bowl.
ReplyDeleteCarl is most entertaining. I love hearing about what he's up to. I don't always understand what he's up to, but I love hearing about his thought process.
ReplyDeleteBeef and gravy. Bwahahahahahahaha. It's a lot more than beef and gravy.
Love all the funnies and the last one made me laugh out loud. Kids do the cutest things.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Whipped cream on soda?
Oh I love your posts. Grandma's shares are always so much fun.
ReplyDeleteI sometime add a whip of whipped cream on my morning coffee if I have it but soda. Oh my! I guess we all have our funny quirky ways. KIndness rules!
Love the great photos from Grandma. Yes, old folks like me must stay in motion or else our joints become rusty and stiff and will be too lazy to move about. Cute baby photos.
