Odd and Odder and Funnies, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.  

Upon arriving at Carl's yesterday, he asked  me about ordering groceries to be delivered.  When i told him he'd need to ask his parents about that, he said, "No, I placed the order, but I think the credit card number is in there wrong, what do I do about it?"  As we worked to make sure the right number was entered, he was putting canned whipped cream on top of his morning soda, which he then set on the table next to his breakfast broccoli, the bran cereal with yoghurt, and the prunes.

Sometimes it makes me wonder if i live in some kind of parallel universe.

At Ms. PA's house, she was bragging (in a good way) on her wonderful son.  When he's anxious, he goes in the kitchen and cooks.  He keeps his parents stocked with food in their freezer so that all she has to do is thaw, heat, and serve.

He'd just brought a big supply on Sunday, and she said, "It includes stuffed shrimp, can you imagine that, and beef stroganoff, whatever that is."

When i told her it is a beef dish in sauce, she said, "Well, why doesn't he just tell me he brought me beef and gravy!  All these fancy words, I just don't know what they mean." 

On that note, how about some of the stuff Grandma sends me.
