Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.
Buddy and Angel, the cats i will be cat-sitting this weekend, have decided i am tolerable since i distribute the coveted wet food.
They no longer stay UTB (under the bed) when i am in the house.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. My biggest pet peeve at Christmastime is ________________________.
2. _________________ is on my list to Santa.
3. My Christmas to-do list still includes _________.
4. A random piece of Christmas trivia that I know is _________.
1. My biggest pet peeve at Christmastime is traffic. Of course, that’s my pet peeve any time.
2. Being able to find something to give Grandma is on my list to Santa.
3. My Christmas to-do list still includes a trip to the bank for the gifts for the children (heaven only knows what they want, i give them cash and let them enjoy themselves, and they don’t end up with a sweater they’ll never wear).
4. A random piece of Christmas trivia that I know is it was the Coca Cola company that first dressed Santa in their signature color, Coca Cola Red. They plastered his picture in that color all over the place, and he's been associated with it ever since.

Buddy and Angel look like cool cats! My cats would be the same. And I LOVE your fill-ins especially #1 and #4! Enjoy the cat sitting! We hope you have a marvellously happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteGreat fill ins.
ReplyDelete#4 It was actually an American cartoonist who first dressed Santa in red in the 19th century. I can't remember the date without looking it up. CocaCola adopted the red Santa for advertising in 1930 or thereabouts.
Glad Buddy and Angel have become more friendly. It's amazing what food will do!
My pet peeve is both the traffic, and it's first cousin the parking space search.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the kitties like their cat sitter now! Those were really good answers too!
ReplyDeleteGreat fill-ins this week. When we first moved to NW Arkansas I never thought traffic would be a problem. I was sooooo wrong.
ReplyDeleteA few more weeks of wet food and Buddy and Angel might even come running when you open the cans. They may consent to be patted.
ReplyDeleteYou sure had a full day. Pizza is good. I liked your fill ins not so much, as I do not like Santa (shh don't tell anyone)
