Feline Friday: Conversation with The Duchess / Friendly Fill-Ins

Feline Friday is hosted by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is..

1) post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute)

2) go to Steve's page, linked above, then on the menu bar click on the Feline Friday tab to get the code

3) paste the code under your cat picture

4) add your name and link

That’s all there is to it! Be sure to check back every so often and visit all the Feline Friday bloggers. Also, please leave a nice comment on their blogs. Nasty comments will be deleted!

At Ms. G's house, i had a conversation with The Duchess.

Me:  Duchess?

This better be important.

Me:  You do realize you are lying on the clean laundry, right?

And your point?

Me:  My point is now the clean laundry is covered with cat hair!

You disturbed me to tell me that!  I'm going back to sleep.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

My fill-ins for the statements are underlined:

Week 53: May 12, 2017

1. My favorite cereal is _________________.

2. My prom ____________________.

3. The                         thing about                     is                     .
4. I cannot help                            , but                                     .

1. My favorite cereal is Ezekiel (like the Ezekiel bread) cereal with coconut water on it.  Yes, i'm a weird vegan, but they know me in my world and i don't hurt anyone.
2. My prom did not see me.  It was an all girls Catholic school, and my parents wouldn't let me date, so i had no one to ask to go with me.
3. The most fun thing about having children is life is never boring.
4. I cannot help everyone, but that won't stop me from helping those i can.

  2. Duchess is adorable. Kitties have to do so much work on clean laundry to get their scent and fur back on. Thank you for your great fill-ins answers. I am so impressed that you are vegan, I would like to at least be a vegetarian, but I find it hard when I have to still cook meat for the hubby. Glad your kids keep you from being bored :) Same here with cats. Have a great weekend! XO

  3. Do you realize that having a cat means having cat hairs around the entire house and I mean everywhere. But you know Mimi, they are so cute.

Have a beautiful Friday my friend. See ya.

  4. I took the best picture of my meow this morning. I woke up about 5 am and she was laying there, looking all adorable. I will have to look into the link up. I would love to share her..picture...not actually her.

Like Duchess, my Maggie enjoys a clean pile of laundry.

  7. Your comments on the Ezekiel cereal reminded me I had meant to make Ezekiel bread one of these days, it always sounded interesting. For a breakfast cereal I would add raisins. I might try answering those questions myself, in my own mind, they are interesting aren't they? As for the cat conversation, it certainly figures! I do believe that is exactly what she was thinking! :)

  11. Children have added that fun element to our lives, too. Who could get by without having made a diaper out of newspaper in an emergency? Have a great weekend.

  12. Your answer to #3 is absolutely right! There is always something going on and you never know what they are going to say or do next. :)

Your history tidbits has had me chasing bunnies for hours now, reading about Queen Victoria (now the second-longest reining British monarch - Elizabeth surpassed her) and about all the castles involved with their families. It was fascinating reading. Thank you for these history lessons!

    Have a blessed weekend. :)
