Seemingly, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

***********************************

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus

Upon my arrival at Carl's yesterday, he jumped out of bed, grabbed a couple of items off of his counter and said, "Should I try to tidy up?"

It's a bit late, i told him, just go nap a while, and don't worry about sniffing the clothes to see if they are dirty, i'm going to wash it all.  He went.

Here's the thing, you can't stay mad at a 41-year-old special needs man child who loves stickers and bubbles.

Just be careful when you grab anything he's been handling, and i mean anything.

Front view.

Back view.

A handful of jelly is likely.

This week's "wonder why he did that" involves a pillowcase.  He's fussy about pillowcases, as he cannot stand rough material around his face, so he often takes his regular clothing that has the feel he likes and uses that clothing instead of pillowcases, especially shirts.

So why was one of his favorite pillows ensconced in two shirts while his favorite pillowcase was in a toothpaste covered bag on top of the dresser?

Bag smeared with toothpaste.

Favorite pillowcase.

Don't bother to ask him, he'll probably just mumble something you don't understand that roughly translates to, "It seemed like a good idea at the time."

 Speaking of that:

Have a blessed and beautiful Tuesday, everyone!

Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border Jenny at Procrastinating Donkey is on a blog semi-break and her poetry is sorely missed, we hope she comes back soon.   Charlotte/Mother Owl participates, and now Karen at Baking in a Tornado is jumping in at least once a month, too.  Anyone else is welcome to join in the fun, just let Diane know!

This week the theme is Memorial Day.

We hope for no more war

we pray for peace to reign

for hatred is so evil

and murder is insane

We pray for no more madmen

maniacs spoiling to fight

wicked in their wanting

to destroy what's good and right

We pray for all these things to end

but until they really do

we pray The Lord will always send

heroes just like you

There is no reason to glorify war.  When a nation is attacked by evil, may there always be good people willing to step up for its defense.

Today we honor those who did just that, and who lost their lives in doing so.  Blessed Memorial Day to all.
