The Final Random and Happy Tuesday of March

***********************************

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.

My favorite quote from last week was from Ms. RW.  She was talking about being at home all of the time with her husband and said, "It's a good thing we like each other.  Of course, I could kill him most of the time, but he's my favorite person in the world and he's so sweet!"

As each week goes along, my schedule changes.  Some say no to me coming to clean, others say yes, and then they change their minds, or ask to move to another day.  So far, i've been mostly on, and been mostly able to accommodate everyone who wanted a change.

How long that will go on if our stay home order lasts is unknown.

It seems the US gov'mint has agreed to send us money.  If i am calculating and understanding right, Sweetie and i should get just enough to be able to turn around and hand it all right back to the IRS in our tax bill.  Unless it turns out i already paid enough last year, which i may have.

The bot that keeps spewing a spam comment on my posts is getting tiresome.  It has to be a bot, and since it's the only one and comes in at around the same time every morning, i don't want to turn on comment moderation just to prevent that one comment.  Please continue to ignore it and know i will delete it as soon as i can get to it, thank you.

And now to make us laugh, because we all need to:

Have a blessed and beautiful Tuesday, everyone, stay safe and stay home!

Sparks, the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, is on hiatus, so here's an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border She and Jenny at Procrastinating Donkey take turns providing a theme each week.   Charlotte/Mother Owl almost always participates, too.  This week the theme is Writing.

Writing is a hobby,
Writing is such fun,
That writing makes me happy
Can be seen by anyone.

But something else is true,
That also you can see,
No, i can’t live without reading,
It means even more to me!

Please writers, keep on writing,
Please just churn it out,
And i will keep on reading,
Upon that you can count!

Just What It Says (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandma and Grandpa are stubbornly mis-communicating as usual, with each thinking the other simply does not listen or use their head.  Grandma has started, however, saying, “That’s all right, he does the best he can,” and letting it go.

Boudreaux be done had to stop him when he go pass Thibodeaux house an’ see de sign out front dat say, “Boat for Sale.”

Boudreaux jump him out de car an’ say, “Thibodeaux, what be wit’ dat sign?  You don’ got no boat!  All you gots out here be you ol’ pick-em-up truck with you ol’ drum set in de back.”

An’ Thibodeaux say, “Mais oui, an’ dey bot’ be fo’ sale!”

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

Just to be safe, yesterday at Grandma and Grandpa’s house i was gloved and masked and wore freshly sanitized garments, and i did not get too close to either of them as i cleaned.  At lunch, i went and ate in the formal dining room, where no one ever goes except on major holidays, so i could take the mask off and dine.

While in there, i started looking around that room and the chapel next to it, and i cannot remember if i showed some of these before.  If so, it’s been a while:
