Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.
I'm ready for my close-up, Ms. Food Provider! |

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. I just _________________.
2. My next ________________ will be ____________________.
3. The sound of _________ makes me cringe.
4. Right now, I am craving _________.
I just don't understand how seemingly good, loving people get so wrapped up in hate when it comes to certain other people whom they have set aside in a special category that they almost treat them as subhuman.
My next car will be less that five years old, i hope. (All of our cars are now over 10. Lunceford the Land Yacht is almost 18 and old enough to drive himself! We don't have to have new, i don't expect that, but a little less used would be nice.)
The sound of a cat about to cough up a hairball makes me cringe, as i know i better get up and find it before Sweetie's foot does or the next sound will be him yelling.
Right now, i am craving brown rice vegan sushi. Yes, i'm weird and i own it.

ReplyDeleteI do know what you mean about a 'less old' car. The car we had before this one was old enough to vote.
That is a nice close up. Our cars are also more than 10 years old and they have all the aches and pains of old age. Lol!
ReplyDeleteaww! what a perfect pose heheh!
ReplyDeleteI liked your fill-ins and totally agree with the first one
Have a fillintastic weekend ;-)
Now you've got me curious about brown rice vegan sushi...
ReplyDeleteYour comment about cars struck a nerve with me. Years ago, my husband gave his old pickup to our eldest daughter when he bought a new one. I gave my Xterra to our youngest when I bought a new one.
ReplyDeleteFast forward to today. My husband wants a new pick up because his has high mileage, but my 2012 Xterra hasn't broken the 10,000 mile mark. My Tara (yes, we name our cars) still has her new car smell and is paid for. My daughter strongly suggests that I should give her my Tara and get a new car for myself. In my opinion, Tara is almost brand new and I plan to keep her for years to come.
When I took Tara in for her first brake job, the guy at the dealer refused to change the brakes because they weren't worn enough. "Do you ever drive this thing?" he said.
I think getting one free car is plenty. One shouldn't expect a second one.
That is some serious "I smell food" look!
ReplyDeleteYes bring me my food. They want what they want when they want it.
ReplyDeleteLove your fill-ins. I so remember the hairballs. Yuk.
There is comfort in having a newer vehicle. They are so much more dependable.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥
My daughter is a vegan ambassador - I wonder if she's heard of brown rice sushi?
ReplyDeleteVery cute kitty. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I know what you mean about wanting a newer vehicle, my Elantra is 14 and my hubby;s truck is 12. You are not weird, you are unique :) I know the hairball sound well, I hear it at least once a day :) Have a nice weekend! XO
ReplyDeleteYou, Kitty, are a good closeup model.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your number one. I wish we could all get along and that when people spoke of tolerance they meant tolerating everyone, not just a chosen few.
ReplyDeleteClose-up kitty shots are the best! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I have never bought a brand new car, but the last time I purchased one it was just 1 year old. It's now 8 years old, and though it still does the job, it's certainly starting to show its age. And I quite like your answer to #4. One of my favorite meals is mini pizzas made using brown rice cakes as the crust, and with tomato sauce, oregano, and vegan cheese melted on top. Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely close up kitty photo.
ReplyDeleteOh such an adorable kitty! Xox
ReplyDeleteHappy Day to you,
