Elections (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Yesterday was election day.  Most of us are just glad the campaigning is over for a moment.  The worst is that they've started not just calling to hound you to vote for their candidate, they are sending text messages, too.

Boudreaux an' Thibodeaux done be headin' to vote an' Boudreaux say, "Dat remin' me, I gots to stop to de store on de way from de poll to get toilet paper."

An' Thibodeaux ax, "What remind you?"

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, votin' allus remin' me o' toilet paper, no matter who I votes for I gots to listen to dey crap 'til de nex' election!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

A few pictures from my day yesterday, working in Mr. BA's garden and dogsitting:
