Little Girl is back, and is waiting for her new apartment to be ready.
Meanwhile, she's couch surfing with friends.
The majority of her stuff, especially the furniture, is stored here.
Where is Coda in all of this?
She gets to stay with me, enticing me to play and keeping me from getting stuff done around the house and on the web.
Distraction, thy name is dog.
Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Distraction.

Gosia at Looking for Identity has taken over Good Fences, and it's now Good Fences Around The World. Post a picture of a fence or gate, link back to her blog, and go visit other blogs to see what interesting fences there are out in this big world.
Last time i took Becca and Mr. Cal for a walk, i noticed this almost hidden fence.

It's Angel Sammy's Poetry Day! This week's image and my poem:
If heaven were a library,
It would probably look like this.
For those whose life is reading,
This place would be pure bliss.
To spend the days just roaming
From stack to stack to stack,
If you ever send me here,
Be sure i won't come back!

Brian of Brian's Home hosts the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. It's time to share something for which i am thankful.
Today, i am thankful Little Girl is lending me her air mattress. Sweetie got the Covid, and now he's isolating in our bedroom and i get the library. The air mattress is a lot better than the cushions on the floor i was going to use (we only have chairs, no couch).

ReplyDeletederam - read dream, sorry
DeleteSweetie has Covid?? Then you should also isolate in case you are infectious? Since you are such a close contact.
ReplyDeleteI like your six sentences and that heavenly library. The poem is good.
Doggie distractions and libraries - super combo. Best wishes to Sweetie for a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteWe dogs make great distractions and sometimes it is good for humans to be distracted for a while.
ReplyDeleteThey (dogs) are surely perfect lifeforms.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your Six
It would take more than a life time to finish reading the books in that library. Pray for Sweetie's quick recovery from covid. Hope you didn't get the covid from him. Take care and stay safe.

ReplyDeleteI often wonder what Heaven looks like. Is it like the movie heaven or just what's in my mind. The paintings on the wall in church are they like that?

ReplyDeleteNice poem. I hope your Sweetie gets well soon. XO
ReplyDelete"Distraction, thy name is dog," is surely what many would consider their dog, lovingly of course.
ReplyDeleteLove your If heaven were a library poem. The first time I saw the image of that library all I could think about was the effort it would take to retrieve books and replace them on the shelves. Definitely for the able bodied, or a recipient of heavenly powers to move objects.
Undoubtedly a most pleasant distraction!
ReplyDeleteTotally awesome library image and poem. Yeah, that would be heaven alright :D
Prayers for Sweetie's quick recovery.
