Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
Yesterday while we were in NOLA cleaning, Sweetie put his phone on silent so he wouldn't be disturbed. His best friend from college (who lives in Dallas) called and left him a message. On the way home, Sweetie dialed him back and also got voicemail. He left him the message, "Tag, you're it!" They finally connected and will be having lunch on Monday.
Back in de day wit' de new 'phone in de house on de party line, Clothile done answer ever' time it ring, she don' want miss ennyt'ing. One time she done pick it up an' de person on de line say, "Is dat Toot-toot?"
An' Clothile say, "No, dere no be a Toot-toot here."
An' de person say, "Mais, you done answer de wrong phone!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files. The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please. It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.
Just about the only photos i've taken for a while now are pups playing and sky shots.
