Yummy (Awww Monday), Inspiring Quote of the Week, and Peculiar People (Poetry Monday)

***********************************

Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays.  Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.

Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you.  What better way to start the week than with a smile!

Coda got her first "puppuccino" or "pup cup".  To say she enjoyed it would be an understatement.

Sparks, the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, is on hiatus, so here's an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border Jenny at Procrastinating Donkey is on a blog break and is sorely missed, we hope she comes back soon.   Charlotte/Mother Owl participates, and now Karen at Baking in a Tornado is jumping in at least once a month, too.  Anyone else is welcome to join in the fun, just let Diane know!

This week the theme is Peculiar People (and i wrote it with the tune Foolish Questions in mind).

Peculiar People,

Oh what is there to say?

Peculiar People,

You meet them every day!

Peculiar People,

You might as well decide,

Peculiar People,

Are not here to deride!

At least one Peculiar Person

Will always be in your life,

He just might be your barber,

She might be your boss's wife.

No matter who the person

That's peculiar in your eyes,

Just remember they're the ones

That make life a big surprise!

Peculiar People,

Oh what is there to say?

Peculiar People,

You meet them every day!

Peculiar People,

You might as well decide,

Peculiar People,

Are not here to deride!

All those Peculiar People

Will keep you on your toes,

What they will say or do next

Well, no one ever knows.

But this much I can tell you

Remember from the start,

For most Peculiar People,

They have a really good heart!

Peculiar People,

Oh what is there to say?

Peculiar People,

You meet them every day!

Peculiar People,

You might as well decide,

Peculiar People,

Are not here to deride!

  5. That quote is the best! Mom always says she never fits into the boxes she needs to fit in. I guess it was really rough when she lived in Germany for ten years but still, nothing fits because she doesn't do much the "normal" way. Have a Grand week!
