Pressed but Still Thankful, a Ten Things of Thankful Post

It’s been quite the week, and i’m pressed for time even more than usual because it is rEcess night.

Quick recap:

last Saturday was the anniversary party, Sweetie and i got up at 3:30am, went to NOLA, cleaned, and got to their party on time, and it didn’t kill us

Sunday, Red-headed Alec visited and brought Lee with him.  It’s always a blessing to see my foster son and foster grandson.

Ms. JAI accidentally dialed my number without meaning to, so i called back to see what was up.  She’d had a difficult time with something and needed to talk it over with someone, and i was able to provide that listening ear

a vehicle right in front of me did not realize the light was turning red, almost ran the light, swerved and hit the curb and stopped in time, no damage done to anyone

the sound came back up on my vehicle, and i’ve taped up the leaky roof so maybe it won’t go out again

Tuesday i got a break with a day off to catch up

Ms. G had us busy from can to can’t on Wednesday, we’re thankful to have gotten so much done

Ms. V’s house on Thursday was the easiest it’s been in a while — all the extra cleaning before the guests came paid off

i was able to order a meal delivered for the rEcess volunteers

Ms. GA hired me for the weekend to catsit, which will help us as Sweetie’s car is in the shop again

rEcess is going, i hope, to be the bulk of my Sunday Selections and my Awww Monday.
